Alright, first things first, welcome to Haze! Haze is a semi-literate [see II. In Character] snow leopard RPG, set in the Himalayan mountains. You can read more about that in the info thread. These are just the rules, seperated into segments for your convenience. I suggest reading the first thing, because if you don't agree with them you can either leave or PM me about it.
I. General
i. Respect is required OOC [out of character] towards everyone, whether they're guests, members or staff. Be nice!
ii. Keep swearing to a minimum. It shouldn't really be necessary, should it? If there's a good reason, I suppose you should go ahead, but otherwise try to stick to the nicer words.
iii. Make sure all images are decent sizes- anything that stretches the page or is just too big will be edited into a link.
iv. Racism, sexism, discrimination, etc. will not be tolerated. Also, don't spam and/or flame, and stuff like that.
v. Keep in character fights in character. Just because your character doesn't like someone else's character it doesn't mean that you and the other person can't be friends. It's a roleplaying GAME, you know.
vi. This site is PG13, so keep it clean. That means in character and out- keep gore and sexual content to a minimum.
II. In Character
i. Characters must be at least a little realistic. I mean, the animals are talking, so it doesn't have to be /perfectly/ realistic, but try to keep the clothing to the humans and the strange colours to the eyes, not the fur.
ii. As mentioned before, Haze is semi-literate; this means that all posts should be at least a paragraph (5-6 sentences). Writing more is encouraged however, and people who impress me will be given cookies.
iii. Also mentioned before, Haze is a snow leopard RPG. For information on snow leopards, this is a good site.
iv. If your characters are going to get in a fight, contact a staff member who will judge the fight for you. There are very few restrictions for fighting, just don't make it overly gory and don't powerplay or godmode.
v. No graphic mating is allowed. Mating will take place in the mating season (late winter), and when your characters mate fill out the form in the mating board. An admin will PM you when your cubs are born, and you can take care of the rest.
vi. There is a maximum of four characters per person, not including cubs. You can play a cub for two weeks, which is one it will mature, and when it becomes a mature snow leopard it will be considered a character.
